About Cathy

Crunching numbers was Cathy Reppert’s course of study in grad school, and she continued it into her professional life. For many years, she happily toiled away as a CPA. Then, after spending several fulfilling years as a stay-at-home mom and part-time CPA, Cathy stood at a fork in the road. To jump back into the numbers game full time or to take a more creative journey. She went the creative route.

A baker at heart and searching for more whimsy in her professional life, Cathy founded Truly Scrumptious, a specialty dessert company and hasn’t looked back since. Always looking for new ideas, she continues to expand her creative horizons by attending culinary seminars in New York City, including classes with Colette Peters, Scott Clark Woolley, and Ron Ben-Israel, and by experimenting with designs, flavors and fillings at customer requests.

As proprietress of Truly Scrumptious, Cathy custom creates wedding cakes, confections, special occasion cakes and other delicious delectables from only the finest and freshest ingredients. A Truly Scrumptious creation is the perfect ending to a wedding, corporate event, birthday, family occasion, and many other life celebrations.
